NEW ENGLAND MEETS NEW ORLEANS. This enchanting antique house built in 1777, as a three-quarter cape and moved onto a larger stone foundation in 1830, has been the curiosity and envy of many a passer by for 100 years. Several generations back, the house took on the unique New Orleans look, with the second story porch that Captain Vincent built when he retired from the sea. The first stage of a thorough renovation has been completed. All the heavy lifting has been done.
