Joan's ties to Martha’s Vineyard began 17 years ago as a summer resident, while attending Boston College. Joan felt an instant connection to the island's beauty, the people, and style of Vineyard life. After receiving a BA in psychology and a master's degree in counseling and education, Joan moved to the Vineyard full time. In 1997 she began working as a special education assistant, health teacher, and guidance counselor at the Tisbury Elementary School. Joan’s passion and involvement in the island's community make her a natural addition to the Harborside team.

Joan lives in Edgartown with her husband, Tim, and two young children, Ethan and Sara. She proudly joins Harborside Realty and looks forward to continuing to help people realize their goals.
